Steps to do Research:

 

 

 


After you take notes it's time to use the information to complete your research. Here are some useful tips:


Test if information is true or false: Look for WHO wrote the information, WHEN was it written, Did the author CITE SOURCES?
Put it in your own words: As you read, Ask yourself; WHO? • WHAT? • WHERE? • WHEN? • WHY? • HOW?
Put in Order: make a list of things that are similar and another list of things that are different. Then put all your notes in order, based on which event happened first, second, third, and so on.

Add your own conclusions Include your own thoughts in your final project. Ask Yourself:

 

• What do you think about what you've discovered?

• Do the answers make sense?
• Are they what you expected?

• How have you changed your opinions?
