Dr. Gail-Ann Allen
From the parish of St. Andrew hails Dr. Gail-Ann Allen, who attended Immaculate Conception High School and continued her studies at Essex County College in New Jersey, where she earned an Associate in Applied Science Degree, Biological Sciences, with highest honours. Further studies in Biological Sciences at Rutgers University in New Jersey earned her a Bachelor of Science Degree, Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Allen pursued her dental degree at the New Jersey Dental School and obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2000.
Upon completing one year General Practice Residency at the same institution, Dr. Allen did her postgraduate studies in Orthodontics at the Saint Barnabas Hospital in New York and graduated in 2004.
Before returning to Jamaica, she practiced as an Orthodontist in New York and New Jersey.
Dr. Allen has two lovely children; daughter Noah and son Elijah.
